Meet the Dandelions Leadership Team

We are more than leaders! We are daughters, mothers, visionaries, and survivors. Each member of our leadership team is a Black woman born with HIV, part of the very first generation to live a lifetime with this virus. We carry the wisdom of grief, having experienced separation from our birth parents, and we carry the strength of community, having built our own.

As mothers ourselves, we are rooted in care, resilience, and the fierce love that fuels our advocacy. Our lived experiences shape how we lead, heal, and fight — in public health and beyond. Together, we honor our beginnings while reimagining what survival, sisterhood, and leadership look like.
